Principal Investigator: Dr. Sarah Henkel Projects: Potential consequences of dominance shifts in two intertidal foundation species, Hedophyllum sessile: canopy cover and its direct influence on understory communities in the intertidal zone. Oregon kelps: biomass, Caloric Density and Marine Heatwaves. Mentored three undergraduate students during this time (Khalia Monk, Justin Green, and Tobi Davies).

SCCWRP (Southern California Coastal Water Research Project) Department Head: Dr. Eric Stein || Principal Scientists Worked With: Dr. David Gillett, Dr. Alvina Mehinto, Dr. Susanna Theroux, Dr. Charles Wong, Dr. Heili Lowman Projects: Biological Reconnaissance 1980 Report: Transcribed and analyzed the data. EPA OSU Menidia Toxicology Project: qPCR temperature gradients and optimization plates on Menidia fish samples given to us by OSU. March 2020 (COVID)-Switched to fully remote data entry and analyses. eDNA Fate Project: conducted a literature review of past eDNA work, outlined possible literature gaps and helped write a report/proposal for future funding. CEC EcoPanel Toxicology Panel- converted a large dataset from SFEI into a useable R Shiny App for the CEC Panel to work with.
